What Inanna keeps

What Inanna keeps about you, for how long, and how to delete it. Updated October 30, 2026.

The short version

If you do not subscribe, your chart and your answers stay in this browser. If you subscribe, Inanna keeps what she needs to be the same Inanna on every device you use: your chart, the people you save, and your conversations. One button deletes all of it.

Without a subscription

Your chart, your reading and your answers are kept in this browser and nowhere else. Clearing the browser clears them.

Your chart is drawn and read on our servers when you ask for it, and the words are written by Anthropic's Claude. Inanna does not keep them afterwards.

Inanna counts what happens, not who it happens to: named steps, like starting the questions or finishing the free reading, under a random id this browser makes up, along with the ad campaign that brought you if one did. Never your name, your birth details or your email address. Those counts are kept in PostHog, in the European Union.

If you answer a friend's link, your first name and the shape of your chart wait for them on our server until 90 days after the last answer to that link. If the link is yours, the answers to it are too, and Delete everything erases them.

If you arrived from a Google ad, Google Ads is told when that visit reaches certain steps, like finishing the free reading, starting a free week, or paying. It is never told who you are.

With a subscription

Stripe, which takes payment, holds your email address, your card, your payments, and the name of the ad campaign that brought you, if one did. The price is $6.99 a week in the United States after a free week, and the terms say the rest.

Inanna keeps, for you alone:

What Inanna learns from

Each question and answer is also recorded without who asked it, under a random id for the conversation, with your name and the names of the people you have saved taken out. We read these to make Inanna better. A name Inanna was never told can slip through, so they are not the place for anything you would not want read.

Because nothing links them to you, Delete everything cannot find them, and they stay.

Emails

Inanna emails you a sign-in code when you ask for one, and when you start a free week, when you cancel. While you subscribe, she also emails you today's message every morning, which you can turn off on You or from the link in any of them. They are sent through Resend. Nothing else, and nothing to anybody else.

Deleting

Delete everything, on You, erases every record above and clears the device you press it on. Your other devices clear themselves the next time they open. If your subscription is still set to renew, it asks you to cancel first.

What stays: Stripe's record of your payments, which payment companies must keep; the anonymous questions and answers, which cannot be traced to you; and emails already sent.

If you delete everything, the moment you did is kept for a year, so your other devices clear themselves too.

If your subscription has ended, open your account page in a browser you used Inanna in, and the button is there. Otherwise, write to us and we will do it.

Who else handles it

Inanna uses these services to do what it does, and each sees only what it needs:

Cookies and this browser

One cookie says which subscription this browser belongs to, for a year. It holds an id, not your details. PostHog keeps its random id in a cookie and in this browser. Everything else Inanna remembers on this device, your chart included, is in this browser's own storage, and Delete everything clears it. On the live site, Google's ad tag sets its own cookies to know that a visit came from an ad.
